Funny Exotic Car Rental Have you ever seen a television commercial or show that reminds you of someone that you have met in your life? I suppose this is a common occurrence because I am sure the writers base their ideas on things that they have experienced in their lives and people that they have met. The commercials and shows may be someone exaggerated to make them funnier but many of the situations could have actually happened. So often this is what makes them seem so funny to us. There is one commercial that reminds me of my ten year high school class reunion. This is one situation that was funnier than the television version. The commercial is for exotic car rentals. It features a rather nerdy appearing guy getting out of a super great exotic car that he rented for the night of the class reunion. In the commercial of course there are several classmates outside to see the guy drive up in his terrific car. At my class reunion we had a classmate that went through the trouble of renting a car for the evening. He was a very strange character through high school. I would have bet that he would have been in prison or some other institution by the time we had been out of school for ten years. He was always doing bizarre things that bordered of illegal when we were in school. I had not heard anything about him since graduation day. On graduation day he had tried spiking the punch that was served at the reception with a concoction that he thought was poison. Luckily someone had seen him messing around by the bowl and had gotten rid of the punch before anyone drank any. Because the punch was thrown out it could not be tested for what he put in it so he was not charged with anything. On the day of the reunion he arrived in his exotic car rental. He arrived late so that there would be many people there; however we were all indoors so no one was around to see him get out of the car. Being he has a deviant mind he began thinking of ways to get everyone outside. He parked his exotic car rental in front of the doors and went inside. He avoided the registration table and went inside the door and located a fire alarm and set it off. He then went back outside to sit in the car. He did not plan for two things. One there were big exit doors in the rear of the room we were in so that is where most people exited, and two he locked his keys in the vehicle. The people that did gather around his car noticed the sticker for the car rental company displayed in the rear window. Someone had also seen him pull the fire alarm. He was taken away in handcuffs and his car was towed back to the exotic car rental company. Summary Exotic car rentals can be a wonderful way to escape everyday life and dwell on the finer side for a while. People use exotic cars to impress others for silly reasons, usually related to their past. Try renting one just for the fun of driving a smooth running machine.
