Bluetooth Car Kit For Cell Phones
I work in a sales job that requires me to visit prospective customers throughout my workday. As a result, I spend a lot of time on the road, and have come to depend on my cell phone as a means of staying in contact with my office and clients. However, my city recently passed an ordinance banning the use of cell phones while driving, which means I now have to buy a bluetooth car kit or risk getting pulled over.
I've never used a bluetooth car kit before, but I know how it works. It's basically a small unit that, when properly configured, allows for hands-free operation of cell phones and other devices. By purchasing one of these, I'd be able to continue using my phone in the vehicle whout having to worry about tickets and fines. Since being whin reach at all times is critical to my job performance, I really have no choice about buying a bluetooth car kit.
The big box electronics stores around here over-inflate their prices unnecessarily, so I decided to head straight for the computer to check out some popular websites instead. While browsing through the products, I was a bit surprised at how many different types of bluetooth car kits there are. For example, I can buy a very basic unit that simply plugs into the cigarette lighter. Or, if I want some more bells and whistles, I can get a far more sophisticated bluetooth car kit that would have to be professionally installed.
Since I'm not very familiar with what all of these different bluetooth car kits can do, I'm going to have to spend a lot more time going over the product descriptions and reviews. Between the various features, installation requirements, phone compatibily information, and sound quality issues, there's a lot to take in. Plus, I haven't even gotten around to comparing prices yet, but that's definely something I'm going to have to do before I finally make a purchase.
At least my initial research has given me some solid leads to follow up on. I now know that Motorola, Parrot, and Nokia are some of the leading manufacturers of bluetooth car kits, so I'll be looking for more information on those brands for sure. I'm going to devote the next couple days to this project, and hopefully will have a new bluetooth car kit up and running in my vehicle within a week or so.
